The carpentry program develops fundamental skills needed in the building trades. The course is based on manipulative instructional units and related subjects covering safety, principles of construction, hand tools, power tools, building materials, print reading, and residential building and remodeling. Level 1 consists of in-school work on practical projects. Level 2 may consist of out-of-school work on available projects such as remodeling and building construction.
