The Ohio State Board of Cosmetology licenses the cosmetology program. The principle objective is to instruct students in subjects to qualify them to pass the state board license examination and thereafter to render the best possible service to patrons. Class work includes an understanding of fields such as bacteriology, anatomy, physiology, business management, as well as trade information and current trends in styling. The complete course is 1,500 hours as set by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, and attendance is mandatory to meet examination and license requirements.
