Precision Machining/CNC Technology
Prepare for an in-demand career!
Students begin by reviewing blueprint reading, applied math/measuring, and manual machining. Through the program, students learn CNC operations, basic programming, and are introduced to Mastercam. MACC's industry current lab includes mills, lathes, CNC machines, and computer simulators. Students prepare for and take the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Measurement, Materials & Safety certification exam.
